Most students need between 15-25 hours of professional instruction. Complete beginners typically benefit from our 20-hour package which provides comprehensive training, while those with some experience often find our 10-hour packagesufficient for test preparation
2-hour lessons are significantly more effective as they allow proper skill development and practice consolidation. Our standard 2-hour lessons help you retain more information and make faster progress compared to shorter sessions
This varies by individual, but most students are test-ready after 15-20 hours of instruction. Our Test Package includes focused preparation lessons plus test day support to ensure you're fully prepared. We recommend booking this alongside either our 10-hour or 20-hour training packages
The minimum age to start driving is 17, provided you hold a valid provisional driving licence. However, you can begin driving at 16 if you receive the enhanced rate mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP). In this case, you'll still need to obtain a provisional licence that specifically authorizes you to drive motor vehicles.
You need a provisional licence. You will also need to generate a share code so that we can check your licence online.
I only provide lessons in my own vehicle, as it is equipped with dual controls for safety. These allow me to assist if needed, ensuring both your safety and that of other road users while you learn.
Yes, but it's best to wait until we've agreed that you're driving confidently and can control the car while responding quickly to instructions. Since your own vehicle won't have dual controls, limit your practice to areas and skills where you've already developed a good level of competence. This will help reinforce your learning while keeping you and others safe.
